Becoming an Egg Donor
You can make a major difference in someone’s life. Couples often turn to egg donation after a long physically and emotionally difficult struggle to start a family on their own. When you decide to become an egg donor, you’re helping a couple finally realize the miracle of having their own baby. Chances are you’ll find the egg donation experience to be profoundly rewarding too.
I’m very proud of the exceptional group of egg donors I represent. Most women who join my program do so for a combination of altruistic and financial reasons, but I believe that ultimately, you’ll find the emotional rewards of being an egg donor far exceed the financial compensation. Once you are matched we’ll work closely together throughout the process. I will guide you each step of the way and make certain all your questions are answered. Many donors tell me after their cycles are complete that they couldn’t imagine having gone through the process without my support.
I work exclusively with clinics located in Seattle, Kirkland and Bellevue, Washington. Out-of-state agencies really don't know our community or our best clinics & doctors; I have strong relationships with them all. This means I can be personally involved to make your egg donation cycle the best experience it can be. You will not have to travel out of state, you won’t have to interact with unfamiliar clinics in other parts of country, and you won’t have to interrupt your studies, career, or family life for long distance travel to the various appointments and procedures.
Potential donor candidates minimum requirements:
- between the ages of 21-30 (may begin application process at age 20 ½).
- currently enrolled in college or nursing school, or already hold a college/university degree
- Have a Body Mass Index in the Healthy range. Generally this means you are height weight proportionate for your build. If you are unsure if you fall into this range, you can check here: http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/.
If you meet the above criteria, please review the FAQs and the Donor’s Appointment Schedule. Then [CLICK HERE] to complete a preliminary application.
I truly look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you may have. Thank you in advance for considering this tremendous gift.
Best Wishes,
~ Sharon
